THE ARTS SOCIETY BRUSSELS


The Arts Society Brussels

is the operating name of BRIDFAS (British Decorative and Fine Arts Society of Brussels asbl/vzw) which was founded in 1985 with the aim of enhancing the appreciation and enjoyment of the arts in their many forms.

The Arts Society Brussels offer the following activities:

  • Illustrated lectures, in English, delivered by leading speakers, all of whom are experts in their subject.
  • The lectures take place in Brussels, Belgium.
  • Regular guided tours to exhibitions, museums, and galleries

 

Next lecture on 17 January 2018 at the Town Hall of Woluwe St Lambert (metro Tomberg)

Come and learn more about the paintings of Pieter Brueghel the Elder. This lecture will show that there is more to Brueghel than peasant paintings making merry.

We welcome our members and guests with a glass of wine.

Drinks as of 19.30h.

We are looking for volunteers to help the Committee, no special skills required, only willingness to learn new things, and be part of a dynamic team, please contact us by email or talk to one of the committee membes. Especially for Publicity we could use some helping hands.
